Due North Vineyard

As Vermont’s most northern vineyard and winery, you can’t get much more Due North than that. Our wines are made with grapes grown right here in our own vineyard.

Our speciality is developing wines that truly showcase the grape varieties that grow in our local climate. We have our main stay wines year-to-year but each growing season brings it’s own flavors which can mean new offerings of wine styles.

We are located on Mount Hunger at the edge of the forest in the Châteauguay and in the Piedmont chain of hills in Barnard, Vermont. Here we grow alpine wine and ciders. Our mission is to care for our land in creative and natural ways, make way for the honest narrative told by the wines and ciders that express our unique landscape and each vintage year, and share in and support the spirited food and agriculture of our community.

Snow Farm Vineyard

Snowfarm.com | (802) 372-9463

Snow Farm Winery and Vineyard began as a dream in 1992 – to preserve Vermont’s agricultural land in the face of rapid development by providing an alternative for farmers. Our location, on an island in the middle of Lake Champlain permits us to grow cooler climate vinifera grapes, Pinot Noir and Riesling, as well as the more cold hardy French Hybrids, Vidal Blanc and Baco Noir. Thanks to Vermont’s cold winter temperatures, Snow Farm also produces an ice wine, a product that cannot be made in many other places in the world.

  • Whites: Seyval Blanc, Vidal Blanc, Vignoles, Snow White, Riesling,

  • Reds: Leon Millot, Baco Noir, Crescent Bay Red, Pinot Noir, Rose Red

  • Dessert Wines: Late Harvest Vignoles, Vidal Blanc
