Meet the Winemakers

Vinous Rebellious Tasting Events

Meet the Winemakers of Vermont

The inaugural Vinous Rebellious celebrates the grit, creativity, and pioneering spirit of Vermont’s wine community. Hosted by the Vermont Grape and Wine Council, this collection of gatherings invites wine lovers to meet the people behind Vermont’s bottles and experience the diversity of wines being produced across the state.

Guests will have the opportunity to walk from table to table, tasting wines poured by the winemakers themselves while learning about the vineyards, grapes, and philosophies that shape each bottle. This meet-the-makers format encourages direct conversations between producers and guests, making it a uniquely personal wine experience.

In addition to wine tastings, local farm-to-table fare will be available from regional food partners, creating a relaxed environment to enjoy Vermont’s agricultural bounty alongside its wines.

A Celebration of Vermont’s Wine Identity

“Vinous Rebellious” reflects the independent spirit of Vermont’s winegrowers—many of whom work with cold-climate varieties, hybrid grapes, and natural or low-intervention approaches. The event highlights the state’s evolving wine culture and the collaborative community of producers pushing the boundaries of what Vermont wine can be.

Whether you’re a seasoned wine enthusiast or simply curious about Vermont’s growing wine scene, Vinous Rebellious offers a rare opportunity to taste widely, meet the winemakers, and experience the passion driving this young and exciting wine region.
