Hero Vineyards
Hero Vineyard is a small, two-acre planting located on North Hero, one of the scenic Lake Champlain islands in Vermont. The vineyard is home to approximately 1,800 cold-climate grapevines, cultivating both red and white varieties, along with two fruits used in winemaking—black currant and pear Hero Vineyard.
The vineyard’s ethos is grounded in organic practices, striving for sustainability and minimal reliance on synthetic inputs. Wines are thoughtfully aged in oak barrels and neutral tanks, preserving character and authenticity with each bottle Hero Vineyard.
Hero Vineyard doesn’t handle production onsite—instead, their wines are crafted across the lake on Isle La Motte, blending convenience with regional collaboration Hero Vineyard.
For visitors, wine tastings and bottle sales are offered Memorial Day through Labor Day at their North Hero tasting location along Route 2, typically Friday through Sunday from 3 PM to 6 PM
