Meet the Winemakers of Vermont

Hosted by the Vermont Grape and Wine Council, this gathering invites wine lovers to meet the people behind Vermont’s bottles and experience the diversity of wines being produced across the state. The second annual Vinous Rebellious celebrateS the grit, creativity, and pioneering spirit of Vermont’s wine community.

Guests have the opportunity to walk from table to table, tasting wines poured by the winemakers themselves while learning about the vineyards, grapes, and philosophies that shape each bottle. This meet-the-makers format encourages direct conversations between producers and guests, making it a uniquely personal wine experience.

In addition to wine tastings, local farm-to-table fare is available from regional food partners, creating a relaxed environment to enjoy Vermont’s agricultural bounty alongside its wines.

Tickets are $45 per person (21+ only) and include samples of wines and ciders from over 12 Vermont producers.

2025 Vinous Rebellious Event Details

Set against the scenic backdrop of Ellison Estate Vineyard in Grand Isle, Vermont, the event brings together more than a dozen producers for an afternoon of tasting, conversation, and discovery. From experimental cold-climate wines to traditional vineyard expressions, the event highlights the innovation and determination that define Vermont winemaking.
